Confirmation Class Schedule

CLASSES BEGIN WEDNESDAY 

Confirmation Service Projects

All confirmation students are required to have a total of 10 hours of service in a school year.  These hours are broken in to three(3) categories:

4 hours on your own
3 hours with your confirmation small group
3 hours with your family

There is a tally sheet in the youth area where students can mark their progress.  
This is to be done during your confirmation small group class time.

Confirmation Sermon Notes

All confirmation students are required to have at least 12 sermon notes each year (The year begins at the start of confirmation in the Fall).

Sermon notes sheets are yellow and can be found on the shelf as you walk in the Sanctuary.

Students are to place their sermon notes in the offering towards the end of the service.

Any student who visits another church may turn in a sermon note from that church.

Any student who attends Grace's 7:10 service on Thursday nights and turns in a sermon note, will get credit for two(2) sermon notes.

***DURING LENT:  Each confirmation student is required to turn in at least two sermon notes from Lenten services.

There is a tally sheet in the youth area which will show how many sermon notes each youth has and how many are still needed.

CONFIRMATION CAMP REQUIREMENT

• 5^th – 6^th graders are encouraged to attend camp at Pine Lake (near Waupaca, WI).  However, it is not required
  
• 7^th graders are required to attend confirmation camp at Pine Lake (near Waupaca, WI) 

• 8th graders may attend Confirmation camp a second time if they wish.  Or any other time if they wish.
